Hard Rockin' Blues Guitarist Lance Lopez To Play String Of California Dates In May

Hard rocking Texas blues guitarist Lance Lopez has announced that he will be playing a series of dates in California beginning May 27th at the House Of Blues, San Diego in support of his just released album 'Salvation From Sundown', released April 16th via Sony/Made In Germany Music.

The album was produced by the legendary Jim Gaines(Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana). Recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis -the same studio used by ZZ Top to record the classic albums 'Tres Hombres', 'Tejas' and 'Eliminator' and utilized by Led Zeppelin for part of 'Led Zeppelin III'- the first pressing includes a bonus DVD of a complete performance filmed for German TV's 'Rockpalast' in July 2009.

Regarded as one of the top players in blues today, Lopez has earned accolades from such legends as ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, B.B. King and Jeff Beck, who has called him ""A very exciting and intense blues guitarist".

Lopez is currently on tour in Germany until May 8th and those tour dates can be found at this location.
