Mick Jagger, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Keb' Mo' To Play At White House Gig

Gibson.com is reporting that Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is following the likes of Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan and Sir Paul McCartney this month by playing a gig for President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle at the White House.

The Rolling Stones frontman is set to join artists including Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Keb’ Mo’ and Buddy Guy for an event celebrating the blues in the latest musical gathering featuring different musical genres at the White House, billed In Performance at the White House. The show, directed by Booker T. Jones of Booker T. and the M.G.’s, will take place on February 21 and be televised by PBS public television on February 27. The president also will deliver special remarks at the event. The concert will stream live at http://www.whitehouse.gov/live.
