Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, Paul Rodgers Top Rock's Greatest Voices Poll
The U.K's Sun is reporting that Robert Plant beat legends Mick Jagger and David Bowie to top a poll of the greatest voices in rock. The Zeppelin front man led a host of Brit talents in the vote by digital radio station Planet Rock.
And the Rolling Stones lead singer came an amazing ninth with Bowie coming in at 11.
Queen's Freddie Mercury and Paul Rodgers of Free came second and third and Who frontman Roger Daltrey came fifth.
“It’s great to see Britain has produced the top three greatest rock vocalists of all time,” said Planet Rock Programming Director Trevor White.
