Congratulations are in order to Joe Bonamassa, who for the second year in a row, has been voted by the readers of Guitar Player Magazine in their annual readers poll as 'Best Blues Guitarist 2008'. In other related news pertaining to Mr. Bonamassa, recently the guitarist performed in The Kingdom Of Bahrain at the request of the Crown Prince, where he met up with none other than 'Slowhand' himself, Eric Clapton, who told him how much he loved his past two albums.
Add in the fact that this talented musician is scheduled to play London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall on April 27th, 2009, and it looks as if the world as a whole is finally taking note of arguably the finest guitarist of his generation. Are you listening Rolling Stone?
