Will Much Rumored Led Zeppelin Tour Cause A Creed Reunion?
According to Billboard, once again Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy is being touted as the front runner for the much rumored, Plant-less Led Zeppelin tour. Now, if that wasn't scary enough, in a double whammy, the article goes on to say that if Kennedy leaves Alter Bridge, it would clear the way for a Creed reunion with Scott Stapp, which would be an unintended consequence the music world simply must not tolerate.
From the article : "There may be one unintended side effect should Kennedy bolt Alter Bridge, which has released an album each for Wind-Up and Universal. That band features the non-singing members of Creed, who split with frontman Scott Stapp in 2004. But sources indicate there would be big bucks in a Creed reunion tour and that the band may indeed rise again".
So for the love of God, Buddha or whomever, someone PLEASE convince Plant to come on board, as this is something which simply cannot happen, in the interests of musical taste.

Scary enough? Have you even been to an alter brige concert? Myles is one of the best if not THE best rock singer in music today. So underrated, yet singers these days can't touch him. Not only that, Alter Bridge do one hell of a job with zepp covers. He is the bext contender for the job. And if you ever listened to Mark Tremonti he has said countless times "Creed will never ever happen again." I agree it's for the best Creed doesn't come back even though they were huge, but don't bash Myles or Alter Bridge. They have more skill than any of the mainstream BS on the radio.
I agree... Myles is an amazing vocalist in the studio, as well as on the stage... I know I'm gonna catch a lot of shit for this, but has anyone else noticed that Robert Plant's voice has taken a bit of a dip???... Maybe part of the reason he doesnt wanna do a Zepp reunion is because he cant sing the material anymore??... (I'm just sayin)... Pass the torch!! Myles can more than carry it!! And as for a Creed reunion??? Undeniably, whether you're a Creed fan or not, they were and still are probably the biggest Rock band of the past decade... They write good solid tunes and put on one hell of a live performance... and yes, Mark has sited on numerous occasions there would not be a Creed reunion, however, word has it that when asked recently he did not deny it... Things are definitely geting interesting!!
Creed being the biggest band of the last decade demonstrates more the new low that rock has sunk to in the mainstream rather than tout their talent. As for Kennedy, granted he's a good vocalist no doubt, but even as good as he might be, he can't hold a candle to Plant at his worst. There's a lot more to a vocalist than how technically gifted he is -Plant, even after all these years, still has more than enough talent(Find a video of "Kashmir" from the O2 show and tell me he still doesn't have what it takes) and quite frankly is the ONLY vocalist for Zeppelin. Let Jimmy, John Paul and Bonham jr tour on or record into infinity, but don't tarnish and cheapen the legend with someone else and call it Zeppelin. Some may not see it that way, but I guess you just had to be there to appreciate the true greatness of the band and not want it to be sullied.
Jack Russell, from Great White, has done the best Led Zep covers I have ever heard. He should be considered for the Led Zep tour if Plant is a no show.
