The Who, Fender Guitars Team Up For 'Live At Leeds' Video Contest

Fender.com is reporting that on the heels of the Nov. 16 release of the Who’s Live at Leeds — 40th Anniversary Super-Deluxe Collector’s Edition, Fender has teamed up with the Who for the Live in Your Living Room Video Contest.

The contest invites you to upload a video of yourself either playing along to any track on Live at Leeds or playing unaccompanied to a Leeds track for a chance to win a grand prize package that includes a custom designed Leeds Fender Stratocaster autographed by Pete Townshend, a Live at Leeds — 40th Anniversary Super-Deluxe Collector’s Edition autographed by Roger Daltrey and a subscription to TheWho.com with membership package.

Five second-place finishers will also receive the Leeds box set autographed by Daltrey and TheWho.com subscription.

The contest ends on Dec. 12 and is open to persons residing in the United States, Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United Kingdom who are at least 18 years of age. ENTER HERE!

The Who’s Live At Leeds – 40th Anniversary Super-Deluxe Collectors’ Edition brings together not only the iconic band’s concert of Feb. 14, 1970, in Leeds, England, but also the following night’s previously unreleased concert in Hull, England, each with an entire performance of the Tommy rock opera.  In addition, the 4-CD box set features a reissue of the original vinyl LP and its seven-inch vinyl single.

If the "custom designed Fender Stratocaster" isn't shaped like an SG, have a glued in neck, a shorter Gibson-length scale, with two P-90 pick-ups, and have a stop bar, I call shenanigans.
