Gibson.com is reporting that Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck are considering a recording project, one of several new albums Stewart hopes to make now that he has decided to end to his Songbook series, after Fly Me to the Moon... The Great American Songbook, Volume V is released on October 19.
Stewart told Billboard he hoped to record blues and country albums. “And I may record with Jeff Beck, and I may have to write a few songs… I’ve got a meeting with Jeff in a couple weeks in London, and we’re going to see if we can work together and see what each of us wants to do. We’re a little bit older now and we can tolerate each other.”
