Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Black Country Communion Perform At Designer John Varvatos Anniversary Party

Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, new rock super group Black Country Communion, Mott The Hoople's Ian Hunter, Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), Cherie Currie of The Runaways and Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction) are among the artists who performed at the John Vervatos 10th Anniversary Party, on Saturday, September 11 at Varvatos' Bowery store (former CBGB location) in New York City.

A full report on the show, which saw rock legend Alice Cooper performing "I'm 18" and "School's Out", while recently formed rock super group Black Country Communion, consisting of former Deep Purple frontman/bassist Glenn Hughes, blues guitar god Joe Bonamassa, and drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner) gave a sneak preview of some of the heavy tracks from their upcoming self-titled debut, can be found at The Brooklyn Vegan at this location. This group is keepin' it live with their Anglo American rock. With Glenn fronting it, this band should do well!
