Joe Bonamassa Hits #14 On UK Album Charts, Tops Indie Album Chart For 'Black Rock'

Hard rockin' blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa's brand new release 'Black Rock', released world wide via J&R Adventures March 23 has entered the official UK Album Charts in its first week of issue at #14.

The placing marks the highest charting album in his career thus far in the UK, and also sees him sitting on top of the UK Indie Album Chart at #1 for the week ending March 28th.

Bonamassa's tenth album features five self penned songs as well as his renditions of blues and rock classics from Leonard Cohen's "Bird On A Wire", Bobby Parker's "Steal Your Heart Away", The Jeff Beck Group's "Spanish Boots" and Otis Rush's "Three Times A Fool." One of the album's centerpieces is Bonamassa's duet with B.B. King on Willie Nelson's "Night Life."
