'Frampton Comes Alive!' Named Top Classic Album That "Accidentally Ruined Music"

In a list compiled by that bastion of great music journalism Spike.com (Spike TV), the iconic 1976 live double album by Peter Frampton, 'Frampton Comes Alive!' has been named the number one classic album which "accidentally ruined music".

In choosing the album, the site states that 'Frampton Comes Alive!'" literally changed music overnight, turning the record industry into very big business, pushing music further away from its artistic roots, ushering in the era of pop stars and turning musicians into products and brands overnight".
