It was a year ago this month that Nightwatcher's House Of Rock was founded, so yes, it's our first anniversary! To help celebrate this milestone, courtesy of Eagle Vision and Universal Music Group we'd like to give three of our readers each a brand new, sealed copy of legendary guitarist Jeff Beck's fantastic 'Performing This Week...Live At Ronnie Scott's' DVD absolutely free!
Filmed over the course of several gigs at the famed Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in 2007, Performing This Week…( companion CD released November 25) features a compilation of material spanning Beck’s genre-jumping career. From Rock to Jazz to Blues, with some Boogie and Beatles to boot, this was a week that positively rocked the intimate London club. Featuring stunning audio and video, filmed in 16:9 aspect ratio, this is the first full length DVD from one of the finest guitarists ever to pick up the instrument. The first to be approved by the man himself, the DVD, due out March 31st in the U.S., is stocked with not just a conglomerate of great performance picks, but stellar bonus material. A rare in-depth interview features Beck talking about his experience at Ronnie Scott’s, as well as giving the floor to his band members for some interview time. Also containing guest appearances by yet another rock legend Eric Clapton on two songs, Joss Stone and Imogen Heap, this is a must have for any fan of incredible guitar work.
And all you have to do to enter is answer this simple question : What is the name of the Jeff Beck album which contains the classic "Beck's Bolero"?
Just send your correct answer to nhorgiveaways@gmail.com and you're entered, simple as that! A word of warning though, this DVD is Region 1, so unless you live in the region served by that designation, or have a DVD player that's region free, it probably won't work for ya. The giveaway ends 12:00 A.M. EST, April 10th, with the winners being selected at random from the entries received. The winners then will be sent an e mail letting them know they've won, and will have 72 hours to respond to that e mail with a valid shipping address. If a winner fails to reply within the 72 hour period, another winner will be chosen from the remaining winning entries.
Good luck, and most of all, thank you all for making this first year a most successful one!
