More Allmans From The Beacon

Here's yet another clip from The Allman Brothers' 15 date run at New York City's historic Beacon Theatre, this year in honor of the band's late, great guitarist Duane Allman. One of the guests who appeared last night was Boz Scaggs,(with The Asbury Juke Horns) performing with the ABB on a version of a song from his 1969 debut album, a cover version of bluesman Fenton Robinson's "Somebody Loan Me A Dime". The original track featured a then 22 year old Duane Allman on lead guitar, and is considered a milestone in the history of blues rock guitar.
