Band To Keep An Eye On : L.A.'s Din Caliber

In the words of L.A.'s 'Laist',"For a band of two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old, Din Caliber has a huge sound that's quite exciting".

Taking their cue from the great English rock groups from the sixties and seventies, Din Caliber have concocted their own blend of heavy blues-based riffs, experimental passages, and catchy melodies into a refreshing sound not heard in recent memory. The band's music brings the listener on a magic carpet ride through of the best elements of the psychedelic past while keeping their focus completely current and vital. A mutual admiration for such superior bands as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Move and King Crimson drew these three L.A. musicians together.

Guiding them on their journey is analog keyboard guru Damon Fox(Bigelf), who recently had this to say. "When I think of Din Caliber there are a few adjectives that come to mind... timeless, loud, memorable, unique and genius. There hasn't been a band like them in ages, if ever. They will definitely leave a mark." The trio has exploded onto the Los Angeles scene with a wave of recent gigs at local clubs such as, The Whisky, The Roxy and The Viper Room.
