Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder Inducted Into Grammy Hall Of Fame



Classic songs from Queen, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Wonder are among 28 recordings that have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Queen's 1977 double A-side single We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You and Wonder's 1968 hit For Once in My Life were chosen by a special member committee of experts and historians drawn from all branches of the recording arts. The Hall of Fame, which was created in 1973, now includes 826 titles and will form part of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles which opens on December 6th.

Other works that have been inducted are Police's 1983 album Synchronicity, the soundtrack for the film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Jimi Hendrix's rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, and the Love Theme from The Godfather.
