Appice's heritage includes co-founding Vanilla Fudge, arguably the first heavy metal band ever. He inspired Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, co-wrote “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” for Rod Stewart, was featured in Ozzy Osbourne and Ted Nugent’s bands, worked with Cactus, Jeff Beck, Blue Murder, Tommy Bolin, Pat Travers and Pink Floyd. Carmine’s the author of 'Realistic Rock,' which is the most successful book on rock drumming.
Now he’s leading and starring in SLAMM!, a theatrical event with five drummers and a guitarist, and here are upcoming shows.
