End Of The Line For Wolfmother?

According to Undercover News, Aussie retro rock hitmakers Wolfmother's performance on the weekend at Splendour In The Grass may have been their last, at least with the original line-up.

Insiders tell Undercover that there has been a split between singer, guitarist Andrew Stockdale and the other two founding members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett.

Manager John Watson tells Undercover News, "Unfortunately I can`t make any comment other than to say that as soon as the band has clear future plans they will issue a statement and we hope to be able to do that in the next week or two".`

It has been widely known that the relationship between Ross and Heskett with Stockdale within Wolfmother has been volatile for some time.

Tim Cashmere from Undercover News witnessed an uneasy distance and tension between Stockdale and the other two members during the Splendour performance and now people involved with the band tell Undercover that we will probably never see them together again.

`That was it,`one insider told Undercover.`That was their last show. It is all over for Wolfmother`.

That may not be exactly the case. We hear that Stockdale is about to join a new band with two American players, but will that band be known as Wolfmother' It`s quite possible.

That precedent has been common in the music biz (i.e.: Icehouse).

As Watson says, all shall be revealed in the next few weeks.
