I'd like to introduce a new feature here at Nightwatcher's House Of Rock. Each week, from the Wolfgang's Vault archives, we'll be bringing you a classic track from their massive collection of live shows.
This week, to kick things off is an absolutely amazing 15 minute plus track from NYC heavy rock pioneers Mountain, "Dreams Of Milk And Honey/Swan Theme" recorded live at the Fillmore East, June 27, 1971. Boasting some of the hottest heavy rock jamming ever, this track, featuring guitar legend Leslie West, along with drummer Corky Laing and the late Felix Pappalardi on bass epitomizes all that was great about the heavy music of the early 70's. Also featured on the 1971 half studio/half live album from the band, 'Flowers Of Evil' in even longer form, this is a true hard rock classic. Enjoy!
